[MUSIC] Hi and welcome to your Agile Scrum Master series. In this particular series, what we're going to be doing is we're going to be following the EXIN accredited syllabus for the Agile Scrum Master course. Now I mentioned EXIN accredited because yes, at the end of this course, once you have completed all of the episodes you will be able to sit the Agile Scrum Master accreditation exam. And that will be through the EXIN examining board. And of course, upon successful completion, you will have attained a certification as Agile Scrum Master. So what is it that we're going to be covering in this particular series? Well, we do have other Agile series in our course library, and very similar to our other Agile series, right at the very beginning we're going to be going over the Agile Manifesto and we're going to look at the values that underpin the Agile Manifesto and the principles. And then what we're going to do is we're going to get into the role of the scrum master in a lot more detail. Now, we know that, from the other series that we have from our Agile fundamentals, that the scrum master is the person that is responsible for organizing the, well self organizing team. And I know that that sounds a little bit, yeah, duplicitous there [LAUGH] but no. What he's actually going to do is he is going to, the scrum master maintains the responsibility for removing impediments to the team and ensuring that the team are able to produce the products that are required at the end of every sprint throughout the scrum project. So we're going to be looking at principles to the scrum project itself and we're going to be looking at things like sprints. We're going to be looking at releases. We're also going to be looking at how we manage the sprints, how we estimate how much work we can complete in each sprint, and also how we can communicate with each sprint. We're going to be looking at how we organize ourselves as a team, as a scrum team within the sprint. And we're going to be looking at concepts like our daily stand up for instance, and what is the purpose in that and how we can actually manage progress that we make in our scrum project. And then we're going to be looking at managing our scrum project. So we're going to be looking at all of the metrics that are required, and any issues that may come up, and how we could actually resolve those issues throughout the scrum project. So I'm gonna invite you to join us on this particular series. It's gonna be a challenging series. There's gonna be lots to learn, and of course, it's all going to help you further your career. And more importantly, it's going to help you as you advance in your project management within your organization. So join us, and I'm hoping to see you on our first episode. [MUSIC]
